Edmunds Inc. publishes four Web sites that empower, engage and educate automotive consumers, enthusiasts and insiders. Our Web sites consist of Edmunds.com (launched in 1995 as the first automotive information Web site), Inside Line (launched in 2005 and the most-read automotive enthusiast Web site), CarSpace (launched in 2006 as our automotive social networking site) and AutoObserver.com (launched in 2007 to provide insightful automotive industry commentary and analysis).

Services

As stated above, Edmunds.com offers four different websites providing a different automotive service.

  1. Edmunds.com: Provides (what thay call) True Market Value pricing, car reviews, ratings and a wealth of adivce

  2. Insideline.com: is catered to the automotive enthusiasts. They have great articles, videos, blogs and road tests on upcoming and future models

  3. Carspave.com: Yes, you guest it! It's like myspace, but with cars. And without all the little teeny boppers

  4. Autoobserver.com: This is the most recently added site to the Edmunds fleet. It was added in 2005 by Insideline writer Michelle Krebs. Her and her team of writers are accomplishing the same goal as website , by reviewing and comparing automotive companies, except they focus on the fanancial side of the industry, from a ten thousands foot level.

Pros:

All I have to say is, information, information, information. These sites are packed with information. If someone just becoming a car ethusiasts read these sites. After a few days, his/her co-workers would think they're a guru at the next water cooler meeting.

Cons:

Carspace.com can be very addictive!
